Workshop
Description
A 60 to 120 minute interactive workshop that uses tools from performance, voice, movement, and silence to activate presence and creative vitality. Participants explore expression through embodied exercises and playful improvisation, working with sound, rhythm, and image rather than narrative or performance pressure. The workshop is process-based, inclusive, and suitable for diverse groups and unfolds as a guided creative journey from presence to expression, encouraging connection, attentiveness, and creative confidence. The participants are invited to bring three pictures-these can be photographs, postcards, or printed images that resonate with them, a small notebook, and a pen. The workshop can be adapted for either a 60-minute or 120-minute format, with activities tailored to the group size and available time.
Benefits
Participants are guided through a structured sequence of embodied and creative exercises drawn from poetic performance and theatre practices. The session begins with grounding and awareness exercises to help participants arrive in the space and become present in their bodies. This is followed by guided movement and listening exercises that explore rhythm, attention, and interaction within the group. Using the three pictures as prompts, small groups explore movement, voice, and silence, creating short collective poetic sequences inspired by the visual material. These sequences are shared with the larger group in an informal, non-evaluative setting. The workshop concludes with a brief group reflection and closing, allowing participants to integrate the experience and leave feeling energized, focused, and connected.

About the Host
I am a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, actress, poet, and educator with over twenty years of experience across theatre, storytelling, performance, poetry, film, and translation.
My recent work as an actress is the Golden Bear awarded film Gelbe Briefe directed by İlker Çatak, which will come out on the 5th of March in 2026.
My artistic stage practice centers on Poetic Performance—an innovative form that blends live writing and acting. I have self-directed, written, and performed three original stage works, supported by Berlin Senate scholarships and funding. I have also collaborated with sound and visual artists on interdisciplinary projects, blending performance, image, and sound. I curated and hosted art events in Berlin, bringing together diverse artists and audiences, and performed within these collaborative platforms to create immersive, participatory experiences. My poetry has been published in multiple languages, including Turkish, English, German, and Catalan. I received the work scholarship for non-German writers in 2025 in Berlin.
Now I would like to offer artistically grounded, experience-based workshops that guide participants to explore creativity, presence, and expression through their own lived narratives. I believe everyone is creative but creativity requires a safe space to flow. My sessions blend poetic performance, improvisation, and movement, designed to energize participants, foster connection, and cultivate presence. These workshops are fully adaptable to 60–120 minute formats for corporate teams, cultural events, and group workshops, welcoming participants of all levels and experience with no prior artistic background required.
