Description
Giving feedback is one of the most important ways that managers can encourage their team members to learn and grow. However, it is a delicate area many managers feel uncomfortable with. In the workshop we will learn when you should give feedback and how to give critique that motivates and encourages your staff to improve. We will learn listening skills and practice the listening and sharing skills we learn through role plays, ending with a reflection and discussion on the tools learned.

- Know how to give feeback in a way that is motivating.
- Skills will be practiced through roleplay.
- Reflection on past experiences, encouraging learning.
- Motivation to be sensitive, caring and inspiring leaders.

About the Host
I am a native speaker and a communication expert on many levels as I have more than 20 years of experience as a performer (music and theatre) and more than 30 years of experience as a teacher and facilitator. A charismatic sensitive and hilarious performer, I have been involved as a musician, actor and creator in theatre projects and have been going into Official Language Schools and Secondary Schools for the last 13 years with my cultural activities which range from storytelling, talks on writers including telling their short stories to interactive talks on social history and workshops on presentation skills. I have worked as a language consultant and teacher for many years. I worked at ESADE Business and Law School for 14 years, until recently, teaching modules on Presentation Skills, Persuasive Speeches, Effective Writing Skills, Negotiations, Conflict Management and Meetings. I also have a long history of teaching in-company classes on communication skills in English both on-site and online for companies such as Novartis, Caixabank, Microsoft and many other tech companies. I am very well versed in Non-Violent Communication and specialised in difficult conversations and giving feedback. Ultimately, I would say that my aim in all my work, whether artistic or business communication related, is to make this world a kinder place, holding space for emotion and for transparency.
