DESCRIPTION
Break free from traditional fitness formats with this energizing 60-minute multi-discipline movement experience that combines elements from Parkour, fitness training, and martial arts into engaging team challenges.
Unlike standard gym workouts, this session uses varied movement styles to keep participants mentally engaged while physically active. Through rotating stations and partner challenges, teams experience:
Parkour Fundamentals - Precision, balance, and spatial awareness through obstacle navigation
Functional Fitness Circuits - Strength and conditioning using bodyweight and human multi-gym challenges
Movement Flow Drills - Coordination exercises inspired by martial arts and break-dance mobility
Team Challenge Stations - Collaborative problem-solving through physical tasks
Each element builds different physical and mental capabilities while maintaining high engagement through variety. No expertise required in any discipline—just willingness to try something different and work with teammates.
Session Structure:
- Dynamic warm-up
- Rotating skill stations
- Cool-down and reflection
This isn't about perfecting techniques—it's about experiencing diverse movement styles, discovering capabilities, and having fun while getting a full-body workout.
Benefits
BENEFITS
1. Engagement Through Variety Constantly changing activities prevent boredom and maintain high energy—participants stay mentally present rather than going through motions, creating better fitness results and experience.
2. Cross-Training Mental Agility Rapidly switching between different movement styles (precision, power, flow, coordination) trains cognitive flexibility and adaptation—skills directly applicable to multitasking and role-switching at work.
3. Team Leveling Through Novelty Because activities combine multiple disciplines, the usual "gym person" vs "non-gym person" hierarchy disappears—everyone's equally new to something, creating authentic team bonding.
4. Confidence Through Capability Discovery Trying movement styles participants never considered (Parkour vaulting, martial arts stances, break-dance mobility) reveals unexpected abilities and breaks self-limiting beliefs about physical capacity.
5. Inclusive Full-Body Fitness Multi-discipline approach means there's something for every preference and ability level—those who struggle with one station excel at another, ensuring everyone feels successful.
6. Problem-Solving Under Physical Load Team challenges requiring coordination while physically active train clearer thinking during stress—applicable to maintaining performance during high-pressure work situations.
7. Fresh Perspective on Movement Exposure to martial arts, Parkour, and dance elements expands participants' concept of fitness beyond gyms and running, potentially inspiring new personal movement practices.
Additional Experience Info
About This Experience:
This session was originally developed for comprehensive physical education programs but has been adapted for corporate teams seeking engaging, non-traditional wellness experiences.
The multi-discipline format means participants who dislike traditional fitness often discover movement styles they actually enjoy, while fitness enthusiasts appreciate the novelty and skill-learning elements.
All activities scale to participant ability levels. The focus is on trying new things and collaborative problem-solving, not athletic performance.
Optimal group size: 12-20 participants allows for effective station rotations and partner work.
Requirements: Indoor sports hall or gym space with basic gymnastics equipment (wallbars, mats/crash mats, low boxes/benches and vaulting box). We are mobile and come to your venue, or we can organize a session at our local sports hall in Espoo, Finland for a small additional fee.
Connection to other offerings: This multi-format activity format takes a peak into sev-eral arts, sports and fitness activities. It creates a cross-functional experience that gets people out of their normal comfort zones and gain insight into different arts and how they relate to each other. Can be booked standalone or combined with movement workshops for comprehensive mind-body development.
Available in English or Finnish.

About the Host
About SeTs Ryu:
I'm Chris Spencer, a qualified vocational teacher (HAMK), authorized personal trainer, and certified Parkour instructor with 30+ years of experience teaching movement, self-defense, and functional fitness across Finland and the UK.
My approach combines street arts (Parkour, self-defense) with functional fitness to create practical, engaging physical education that builds both capability and confidence. I deliver sessions in English or Finnish for corporate teams, schools, and community organizations.
Training Philosophy: Experiential and Borderless Learning through interdisciplinary learning and cross-functional training—developing mind and body together through practical, inclusive programs that meet people where they are.
Every workshop is customized in real-time based on participant energy, facility capabilities, and group dynamics. With 35+ years of experience across diverse contexts, we adapt program flow, intensity, and focus to ensure an optimal experience for YOUR specific team. This adaptive expertise—not rigid scripting—is what creates memorable, effective sessions.
Workshop pricing covers instruction, program design, and standard equipment. Venue rental fees (if required) quoted separately based on location and group size. Many corporate clients prefer to host in their own facilities (meeting rooms, company gym) at no additional cost.
