Workshop

Description

This immersive session equips participants with the tools to communicate with confidence and presence. Combining breath work, vocal techniques and practical rehearsal of real workplace scenarios, Polly draws on her 25 years as a performer and coach to help participants develop their unique presentation style. The workshop moves beyond theory into practice, ensuring participants leave with both knowledge and experience.

Benefits

Participants gain a deeper understanding of how voice, posture and body language affect their impact. They practise applying new skills to meetings, interviews and presentations, receiving direct feedback in a supportive environment. The result is improved confidence, more engaging delivery, and the ability to handle nerves with greater ease.

Hosted by Polly May

About the Host

Polly May is a professional singer, educator and accredited coach with over 25 years’ experience on stage and in the classroom. She has performed as a soloist at the BBC Proms, recorded on more than 100 film soundtracks, and sung backing vocals for major artists, alongside a 16-year career as a Director of Music in schools. Drawing on this unique blend of performance expertise and coaching training (ICF member), Polly specialises in helping people build confidence, resilience and connection — whether through presentation skills, team singing, or wellbeing workshops. Her sessions are dynamic, supportive and highly practical, leaving participants with tools they can use immediately in both work and life.

Client Requirements

If it was a longer singing workshop, I would bring a gig piano and need a plug for that. I wouldn't need a microphone. For other workshops I would like to display a powerpoint but happy not to if that's a problem.
