Description
What happens to the way we think when the pressure rises and other people are watching?
In this interactive session, participants explore how pressure changes attention, communication and decision-making — often before we even realize it.
Using practical situations drawn from high-performance environments and everyday professional life, participants will examine what happens when expectations rise, time becomes limited, mistakes become visible and there is no perfect answer available.
Rather than trying to eliminate pressure, the session focuses on functioning effectively inside it.
Participants will work through short scenarios and questions that reveal how differently we react when a decision carries consequences, when other people depend on us, or when we feel we are being evaluated.
The session explores:
- what pressure changes in our thinking and behaviour;
- the difference between reacting quickly and responding clearly;
- how fear of making the wrong decision can create worse decisions;
- how to retain perspective when attention narrows;
- how to communicate when certainty is unavailable;
- how to recover quickly when something does not go according to plan.
The session is practical, conversational and highly interactive. Participants leave with a simple framework they can apply immediately when pressure rises.
Benefits

- Better awareness of how pressure influences behaviour and communication.
- Increased confidence when acting without complete certainty.
- Stronger ability to distinguish useful information from emotional noise.
- More effective responses to mistakes and unexpected developments.
- Improved communication when expectations and consequences are high.
- Practical techniques participants can immediately apply in professional situations.

About the Host
I am a Certified Life Coach and international high-performance sport professional with more than two decades of experience working in environments where pressure, uncertainty, discipline and continuous adaptation are part of everyday performance.
My background as an international dressage rider, professional horse trainer and founder of Hof Marabunta has given me a practical perspective on leadership, decision-making, communication, accountability and performance under pressure. I work with the principle that effective development is not about eliminating uncertainty or avoiding mistakes, but about building the ability to respond intelligently when reality does not follow the plan.
My approach is practical, engaging and action-oriented. I enjoy turning complex ideas around performance, behaviour and decision-making into concepts people can immediately understand, discuss and apply. Alongside my work in international sport and coaching, I have participated in more than 50 international podcast conversations, exploring leadership, pressure, adaptability, error management and personal development with audiences across different countries and professional backgrounds.
I bring energy, curiosity and a highly practical perspective to individual coaching, group discussions and development experiences, always with the aim of leaving participants with something useful they can take into their own work and decisions.
