Description

A practical introduction to mindfulness for people who have
tried it and struggled, or who assume it simply isn't for them.

The session gently challenges the idea that mindfulness
means emptying the mind or sitting perfectly still. Participants are guided
through accessible practices combining breath awareness, slow mindful movement
and body-based attention.

The experience moves from grounding and mindful movement
into slower restorative practice and a quiet period of integration. Brief
psychological insight is woven throughout, helping participants understand
their attention and relate differently to distraction rather than trying to
eliminate it.

Participants leave with simple practices that can be
incorporated into a working day. Suitable for complete beginners and those with existing mindfulness experience.

About the Host

I am a psychologist, wellbeing practitioner and yoga instructor with a background that doesn't fit neatly into one box, which is precisely what shapes how I work.

After eight years leading complex programmes at the heart of UK government, I founded Tada Collective, a corporate wellbeing practice built on a simple observation: we are increasingly asked to give more in environments designed to nourish us less. My work is a response to that.

I combine applied psychology, mindfulness and restorative movement to create sessions that are grounded in science and felt in the body. My facilitation style is warm, practical and spacious. I enjoy creating experiences where people feel comfortable pausing, reflecting and reconnecting, whether that's a team session, a larger group or individuals seeking a more personal experience of this work.

My sessions help people better understand their nervous systems, develop tools for stress and energy management, and create more space for focus and sustainable wellbeing.

What makes my approach distinctive is the combination of psychological training, the embodied awareness developed through a long yoga practice, and first-hand experience of what high-pressure professional environments feel like from the inside.

I offer one-off immersive sessions and longer-term programmes, and I am always happy to tailor the experience to the needs of the group.
