Description
Food carries stories - of childhood, family traditions, and moments that shaped us. In this immersive workshop, each participant brings a dish from home that holds personal meaning, transforming it into a visual story through photography.
Guided by a professional photographer, participants explore composition, light, and detail to capture the essence of their dish and the memories it evokes. Playful prompts encourage them to think about emotion, nostalgia, and culture, discovering how food can tell stories and reveal unique perspectives.
The session concludes with a gentle sharing circle, where participants showcase their images and share the stories behind their dishes. This interactive, reflective, and collaborative experience leaves teams with beautiful photos, meaningful personal connections, and a deeper appreciation for each other’s histories. Participants will gain:
A hands-on introduction to creative food photography
A playful, reflective way to explore personal and cultural memories
Opportunities for storytelling, self-expression, and visual creativity. Shared experiences that strengthen empathy and team bonds

About the Host
A photographer and educator with extensive international experience, I specialize in storytelling through the lens. I have collaborated with museums, galleries, and fashion brands, and my work has been exhibited, awarded, and collected internationally. My practice develops from emotions and subjective themes, guided by the belief that art can heal and connect our soul with our mind. Alongside my teaching in BA and MA photography programs, I foster creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, helping individuals and groups connect with their own vision and inspiration.
