Description
Most people spend enormous energy trying to make the right first decision. But in real life, the information is rarely complete, circumstances change, assumptions prove wrong and unexpected results appear.
This interactive session explores what happens next.
Participants will work through practical scenarios in which an apparently reasonable decision produces an unexpected result. Rather than judging the original choice only by its outcome, the group will examine what was known at the time, what changed, what the new information tells us and what the strongest second decision could be.
Through guided discussion, short decision exercises and real-world examples drawn from high-performance environments, participants explore the difference between reacting defensively and adapting intelligently.
The session is practical rather than theoretical. Participants are actively involved throughout and leave with a simple framework they can use when plans change, mistakes happen or reality provides information they did not have before.
Benefits
• Make better decisions when information is incomplete or circumstances change
• Separate the quality of a decision from the outcome it produced
• Respond to mistakes and unexpected results as information rather than personal failure
• Recognize when adapting is stronger than defending an original plan
• Improve confidence and clarity when making a second decision under pressure
• Develop a practical framework participants can immediately apply to real work situations

About the Host
I am a Certified Life Coach and international high-performance sport professional with more than two decades of experience working in environments where pressure, uncertainty, discipline and continuous adaptation are part of everyday performance.
My background as an international dressage rider, professional horse trainer and founder of Hof Marabunta has given me a practical perspective on leadership, decision-making, communication, accountability and performance under pressure. I work with the principle that effective development is not about eliminating uncertainty or avoiding mistakes, but about building the ability to respond intelligently when reality does not follow the plan.
My approach is practical, engaging and action-oriented. I enjoy turning complex ideas around performance, behaviour and decision-making into concepts people can immediately understand, discuss and apply. Alongside my work in international sport and coaching, I have participated in more than 50 international podcast conversations, exploring leadership, pressure, adaptability, error management and personal development with audiences across different countries and professional backgrounds.
I bring energy, curiosity and a highly practical perspective to individual coaching, group discussions and development experiences, always with the aim of leaving participants with something useful they can take into their own work and decisions.
