Julius Holtz is a Berlin-based sound artist and facilitator dedicated to exploring the connection between sound, mindfulness, and well-being. Through his project Sonic Mind, he creates immersive listening experiences that invite participants to slow down, tune into their environment, and cultivate a deeper awareness of themselves and the present moment. Drawing on both artistic research and neuroscience, Julius works with real-time brainwave sonification to guide people toward states of calm, presence, and self-regulation. His sessions help reduce stress, support the autonomic nervous system, and strengthen communication through the practice of deep listening. At the heart of his work is the belief that listening is more than hearing—it is a whole-body experience that grounds us in the here and now, expands empathy, and opens new pathways for self-discovery. By blending sound, science, and contemplative practices, Julius creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and their surroundings in a meaningful way.
