Sonara is a vocal and wellbeing experience that uses the voice, body and music as tools for stress release, wellbeing, connection, communication and self expression. We design immersive, participatory experiences that give people an opportunity to pause, step away from their everyday routines and reconnect with themselves and with others in a playful and embodied way.
One of the central aims of our sessions is to create space for stress release, nervous system regulation and burnout prevention. Through breathwork, body awareness and embodied movement, vocal improvisation and circle singing exercises, participants are invited to release physical tension, shift out of habitual patterns and reconnect with their bodies and their energy. The experience offers a genuine pause from the demands of the working environment, supporting greater awareness of personal needs, energy levels and boundaries.
Alongside this, we work on qualities that are highly relevant to professional and team environments, including active listening, presence, communication, trust, confidence, creativity, spontaneity and adaptability. Many of our exercises involve listening and responding to others, finding a shared rhythm, taking space and making space, experimenting with different forms of expression and creating something collectively.
We also explore the relationship between voice, body and emotional expression, helping participants become more aware of how they communicate, how they occupy space and how they express themselves in front of others. This can support greater confidence and authenticity in interpersonal communication, while creating opportunities to explore vulnerability and trust within a group in an accessible, low pressure environment.
Our experiences can also support leadership and interpersonal skills. Exercises around taking initiative, guiding a group, listening, responding and balancing individual expression with collective awareness encourage confidence, flexibility, decision making and a more conscious approach to leading and collaborating with others.
Our approach combines our backgrounds in vocal training, psychology, music therapy and wellbeing practices, allowing us to create experiences that are both engaging and purposeful. Depending on the needs of the group, sessions can place greater emphasis on stress release and burnout prevention, team connection, communication, creativity, leadership, confidence or collective wellbeing.
Ultimately, Sonara creates a space where people can release, reconnect and express themselves, while developing greater awareness of themselves and the people around them.
