Lauren Derry

A 2025 graduate in MA Professional Acting from the prestigious Drama Studio London. In addition, I hold a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance from The University of the Arts London.

As an early career professional actor I have already accomplished much, such as having played Hermia in an open-air production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, toured The Wizard of Oz pantomime, participated in three new writing events and won an Audience Choice Award at the London Lift-Off Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Creative Vision Film Festival and Paradise Film Festival.

My focus is on engaging with the humanity, due to socio-political structures people often feel lost in their assigned rank and role. Through theatre techniques such as meisner and improvisational play I encourage greater interpersonal connectivity, communication and confidence in individuality.
