Previously working at a pub chain in the UK as a shift manager, I loved the people aspect but knew I lacked fulfilment so I went on a journey to search for something that was right for me. I was introduced to coaching through a course and love it so decided to become accredited with AC. I have now been in the coaching space 3-4 years now and I have thrown myself into the deep end in terms of the work that I have done, I have over 500 1:1 coaching hours, I have partnered with purpose driven organisations, one being a youth organisation where I coached the young people and staff, and also delivered weekly workshops to the young people on topics such as fear, confidence, purpose etc. I also have worked with Spark inside, an organisation that delivers coaching in prisons, where we deliver a 3 day workshop and then do 1:1 coaching with the men. I have also been lucky to be apart of a new project which brings prisoners and officers into the same room and facilitate a discussion around how they can live and work better together. I have delivered wellbeing talks to spectrum life and been on their wellbeing show multiple times. (I have the record of this if you'd like to see this, recorded Feb 2024/Nov 2024). I love what I do and although it can be very challenging and nerve-racking, I feel so lucky to be able to give parts of myself that I once would've seen as extremely vulnerable and help people be able to change their lives for the better. Outside of work I take my fitness very seriously and have trained MMA (mixed martial arts) for 4-5 years and have done a lot in the running space, m.y biggest achievement being running and completing a 100k ultramarathon in just under 14 hours. Happy to share anything else if curious!
