About Marguerite

From the great stages of London, Berlin, New York, and Moscow, I built my career as a professional ballerina, performing on iconic stages such as The Met, The Bolshoi, and The London Coliseum. That journey led me naturally into choreography and artistic leadership, and for 17 years I served as a ballet director in three German theatres.

Along the way, I discovered something powerful: working with the body in music, time, and space transforms the way people see themselves. It builds confidence, empathy, and self-empowerment in ways words alone never can. This realization inspired me to earn my RD1st Coaching certification and to create “Creative Empowerment,” a unique method that fuses choreography and coaching.

Drawing on decades of experience as a choreographer, ballet director, and accredited life and leadership coach, I bring movement, creativity, and human connection together to help people step out of their heads and back into their bodies. I guide individuals and teams beyond their comfort zones into a space where trust grows, collaboration deepens, and new perspectives take shape.

When the body leads, something remarkable happens. People begin to see themselves and each other differently, they find strength in vulnerability, because what the body knows often goes far beyond words. All of this unfolds in an environment that is safe, energizing, and genuinely joyful.

Irish born International choreographer and accredited business coach, Marguerite Donlon is an innovative pioneer who fuses the creative stage with the business world to achieve a dynamic and unique result. She began her career at the English National Ballet and became a solo dancer and choreographer at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in 1990. Between 2001 and 2013, Marguerite Donlon was the director of the Saarland State Theater Ballet. Her dance and choreography work has been shown on world stages such as the Metropolitan Opera House, the historic Bolshoi Theater, the Hollywood Bowl and the London Colosseum.

Many of her achievements have been internationally recognized. She received nominations for the “German Faust” and the “Benois de la danse”. In 2007, she was honoured with the Saarland Order of Merit, and in 2017 she was honoured by the Lord Mayor of Longford, Ireland, for her achievements in the world of dance.

Coaching has always been an anchor in Donlon’s work. She has been an accredited business coach specializing in "creative thinking", "team building" and "empowerment" since 2014. She supports clients to leave their comfort zones in order to find positive ways to reach their full potential.

Additional Notes
I have been invited several times by various Lions and Rotary clubs German wide, as an a motivational speaker.
I have been the key note speaker at the University Limerick for a book launch in which I was part of .
I am almost finished a “Grief Coach” accreditation which I decided to do because of the amount of people don’t ting me to help them through their difficult times. This is partly due to my natural empathetic nature and my own personal experience of loss losing my husband, tragically 11 years ago.
