
Michael Buckingham Gray is a Perth/Boorloo-based poet, writer, and creative writing mentor whose work has been published nationally and internationally in literary journals, anthologies, and children’s books, including Catchment – Poetry of Place, Haiku for Soulmates, and If I Could Eat the Stars and Other Poems.
Recognised by organisations including The Haiku Foundation and the International Flash Fiction Association, he writes contemporary poetry, haiku, and fiction marked by attentiveness, restraint, and an interest in habitat.
Alongside his own writing, he has spent more than ten years teaching and mentoring emerging writers, with students going on to win awards, achieve publication, and earn recognition for written expression.
