I am Mont Carver, a Mexican audiovisual artist, photographer, and writer based in Madrid. My practice blends experimental cinema, photography, poetry, and installation, exploring themes of identity, love, gender, and memory. I offer both performative experiences and hands-on workshops that can be adapted for corporate, cultural, or community contexts.
The Experimental Film & Poetry Performance is a curated audiovisual journey mixing short experimental films, video art, and poetry, inviting audiences into an intimate reflection on memory, love, and identity. The Cyanotype & Alternative Photography Workshop introduces participants to camera-less photography through sun printing, or lumen prints, where they create unique handmade images connecting art with nature and experimentation. The Collage & Poetry Workshop combines cut-outs, drawing, and writing, guiding participants to create visual poems and collages that reflect their inner landscapes and personal stories, making it ideal for team-building and creative retreats. Finally, the Mexican Salsa & Intuitive Cooking Experience is a cultural and culinary workshop where I share traditional Mexican salsa-making techniques and encourage participants to experiment with ingredients intuitively, discovering new flavors and ways of connecting through food.
I have presented my work at art festivals and cultural spaces such as Matadero Madrid, FotoComBA Buenos Aires, and the Experimental Photo Festival Barcelona. My workshops are adaptable for groups of different sizes and tailored to diverse audiences.
