
Writer, speaker, and musician (MA) Rogier van Kralingen is a conjuror of captivating stories, an award-winning writer, freelance university lecturer, and musician from Amsterdam, with the added skill sets of voice acting and audio production. He has created, published, and spread hundreds of stories in various media-forms his whole life, including in the business world for startups, scale-ups and listed companies, yet also in the cultural and public spheres for film, music and theatre.
He now operates mostly as founder of the boutique production house The Whole Story but is also part of two new initiatives launching in autumn 2026 bringing more humanity into large businesses and introducing martial arts energy work as a solution to the many challenges in organizations today.
As public speaker, he has taught at institutions such as Erasmus, SCAD USA, Nyenrode, AOG, Johan Cruyff Academy, and NIMA and has been ranked as a five-star speaker on various occasions. He is known for strong, tight audiovisual presentations when this is required, yet can also improvise and build stories live on the spot with a group. His ability to poke fun of the world and himself, are noted by bookers as additional high points at speaking engagements.
Rogier has been published in major newspapers, received training from Hollywood’s script guru Robert McKee, has been a three-time nominee and one-time winner of the PIM Innovation Literature Prize.
