Umar Ashraf

Umar Ashraf is a gemstone cutter and lapidary artist with extensive hands-on experience in precision faceting, recutting, repair, cabochon cutting, rough-stone evaluation, and polishing. Trained under an experienced master gemcutter and holding a faceting and gemology certification from the Gems & Gemological Institute in Peshawar, he works with gemstones from rough-stone assessment and sourcing through cutting, finishing, and delivery. He also guides traders and private clients on stone selection and design choices, drawing on years of daily production experience and careful attention to symmetry, brilliance, and quality.
