I am a Portuguese actor, director, trainer and communication consultant based in Porto, with over three decades of experience in performing arts, public speaking, voice, presence and applied communication.
My work sits at the intersection of theatre, human behaviour and professional development. I help individuals, teams and organisations communicate with greater clarity, confidence and presence — not only through what they say, but through how they stand, breathe, listen, use silence, manage rhythm and create impact in real time.
Throughout my career, I have worked across theatre, film, television, cultural production, corporate training and education. This background gives me a practical and highly embodied approach to communication: I do not treat presence as an abstract concept, but as something observable, trainable and applicable in professional situations such as presentations, meetings, leadership moments, negotiations, interviews and public speaking.
My sessions combine tools from acting, voice work, body awareness, improvisation, communication strategy and behavioural observation. They are designed to be practical, interactive and useful for people who want to improve the way they speak, present themselves and connect with others.
I am particularly interested in helping professionals become more aware of the invisible aspects of communication: posture, rhythm, vocal presence, timing, silence, attention and decision-making under pressure. My aim is to help participants communicate with more authenticity, stability and impact.
