Retreat Overview

Retreat Description

A one-day immersive experience for leaders who are ready to explore what is possible beyond the role they've mastered.

9:00 am - 4:00 pm | In person

Leadership doesn't stop evolving when you reach a senior role. But the identity that helped you succeed can sometimes become the identity that limits what you see as possible next.

This one-day retreat creates space away from the demands of the day-to-day to step back, reflect and explore how your Identity Horizon can expand as your role, career and organisation evolve.

Through a combination of facilitated discussion, experiential activities, individual reflection and practical application, participants explore the five Identity Longevity™ capacities:

  • Curiosity - remain open to new perspectives, ideas and possibilities
  • Adaptability - navigate change without being constrained by the role you've previously mastered
  • Self-Trust - make decisions and move forward when certainty isn't available
  • Relevance - continue evolving your contribution as your environment changes
  • Opportunity Thinking - recognise possibilities that may sit outside your established way of seeing the world

What participants will gain

By the end of the day, participants will:

- Have a clearer understanding of their current Identity Horizon
- Recognise where their current role, assumptions or habits may be narrowing their possibilities
- Explore their strengths and opportunities for growth across the five capacities
- Develop a broader perspective on how their experience can translate into new roles, challenges and opportunities
- Identify practical ways to remain curious, adaptable and relevant as their leadership journey evolves
- Leave with a clearer sense of the possibilities available to them beyond their current role

It can support:

  • Leadership retention and engagement

About the Host

Most workshops inspire people for a day. The best ones change how they think - and what they do when they get back to work.

That's the kind of experience I love creating.

For more than 25 years, I've been helping leaders, teams and organizations move from knowing... to doing. Whether I'm facilitating a workshop, coaching a leader, or supporting a major transformation program, my focus is always the same - helping people gain clarity, build confidence, and take practical action that creates lasting change.

I don't believe people learn best by being told what to do. I believe the best workshops are the ones where people are fully engaged, have fun, experience those "aha!" moments for themselves, and leave inspired to do something differently the very next day. I design experiences that demonstrate the principles, rather than simply talking about them, because that's where lasting learning happens.

The impact goes far beyond the individual. When people think differently, they communicate better, collaborate more effectively, lead with greater confidence, and create a positive ripple effect across their teams and organizations.

My background gives me a unique perspective. I'm an engineer by training, hold an MBA, am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and have advanced qualifications in Executive Facilitation, Master NLP and Coaching. I've led major transformation programs, worked with senior leaders across the public and private sectors, and coached business owners and executives from a wide range of industries.

That combination allows me to bring both structure and heart to every workshop. I simplify complex ideas, create psychologically safe environments where people feel comfortable contributing, and ask the questions that spark meaningful conversations and fresh thinking.
Because in the end, a successful workshop isn't measured by what people learned that day - it's measured by what they choose to do differently afterwards.
