Description
An opening beatbox routine from me to get things kick started and get the participants excited, followed by some fun team building warm up games including some rhythm based games and tongue twisters. Then a gentle vocal and physical body warm up, a quick introduction to the history and definition of beatboxing. Learn the basic sounds and rhythm patterns of beatboxing as a group activity using call and response and demonstrating written notation on the whiteboard. Guided Improvisation to create a musical piece as a group and then split into pairs and work on some duo pieces (with guidance) to perform on the microphones to feel the power of amplified beatbox if participants are feeling confident and willing to!

About the Host
I am a 4 x UK Beatbox Champion with 15 years of experience in delivering beatbox and vocal music workshops internationally across various sectors. My workshops encourage and develop confidence, creativity and focus on unlocking joy in a fun, informal and engaging way.
Client Requirements
A whiteboard or flip chart and pen. A table top (above hip height). 2 -4 microphones and an amp suitable for beatboxing / loop station (mic inputs and jack instrument inputs). I can also bring my own amp for UK based workshops got a hire fee of £150.
