Workshop
Description
Invite your team to discover the magic of cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic printing techniques, invented in 1842. This relaxing and hands-on workshop blends art, science, and nature, offering a refreshing pause from screen-based work while encouraging creativity and collaboration.
Participants create beautiful deep-blue prints using plants, objects, textures, and light. The process is simple, surprising, and highly satisfying: arrange elements on specially prepared paper, expose to UV light, rinse with water, and watch the image appear as if by magic.
No artistic experience is required, the workshop is designed to be accessible, engaging, and inspiring for everyone.
20–30 minute mini-experience (creative break)
A dynamic introduction to cyanotype.
Paper is pre-prepared in advance, allowing participants to immediately begin creating compositions using a curated selection of botanical elements and objects.
Participants typically create 1–2 prints each.
Ideal for:
• team-building days
• wellness events
• creative breaks during seminars
Fast drying is facilitated on-site so participants can leave with finished artwork.
60–120 minute workshop (immersive experience)
A deeper exploration of the cyanotype process.
Participants prepare their own light-sensitive paper and experiment with composition, transparency, layering, and texture. Each person typically creates 2–3 prints.
This format allows time for creative experimentation while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable pace.
Ideal for:
• team-building sessions
• creativity & innovation workshops
• off-site retreats
• client engagement events
