Workshop
Description
An interactive, performance-led session where participants experience (not just hear about) the psychology behind confidence, attention, influence and communication under pressure.
Using live demonstrations of perception and misdirection, the group explores how quickly assumptions form, how attention can be directed (or lost), and how confidence and clarity change outcomes in real time. Each moment is followed by guided reflection and simple practical tools that translate directly into workplace situations — meetings, presentations, leadership moments, and customer-facing communication.
Structure: demonstration → reaction → guided reflection → workplace application → takeaway tool.
Format is highly engaging, inclusive, and designed to create strong participation while keeping structure and control of the room.

About the Host
I’m Adam Heppenstall — a professional Magician, host and performance facilitator with over 15 years of international experience delivering high-impact interactive sessions for corporate audiences, private events, and cruise ship theatres worldwide. I deliver interactive corporate workshops using live magic demonstrations to explore perception, decision-making and influence.
My work blends entertainment, behavioural psychology, and facilitation. I use live demonstrations of perception, misdirection and decision-making to help groups explore how confidence, attention, assumptions and communication shape outcomes in the workplace. Participants don’t just hear concepts — they experience them first-hand, discuss what happened, and leave with practical tools they can apply immediately.
I specialise in creating a fun, engaging atmosphere while maintaining structure and control of the room. My sessions are designed to improve clarity, decision-making, influence, and communication under pressure — all through interactive audience-led moments that naturally spark discussion and insight.
My approach is rooted in experiential learning: demonstration → reaction → guided reflection → workplace application → takeaway tool. This makes sessions memorable, energetic and highly relevant, even for teams who are not typically engaged by traditional training formats.
Sessions can be delivered as short energisers (15–30 minutes), keynote-style interactive sessions (45–90 minutes), or longer workshop formats including half-day and full-day programmes. Content can be adapted for leadership teams, project teams, customer-facing professionals, and organisations undergoing change.
