Description

Guided Sound Meditation in action In today's high-performing work environments, stress and constant stimulation have become part of everyday life. But sustainable performance requires more than productivity and ambition. It also requires the ability to pause, recover and regulate our response to stress.

This engaging keynote and guided sound meditation combines practical insights into stress, the nervous system and the importance of recovery with an immersive experience of deep relaxation. The keynote is tailored to the event's duration and audience.

Led by Olivia Holmberg, certified sound healing therapist, yoga teacher, professional musician and speaker, the session draws on her experience working for over 10 years in international finance and fintech, managing relationships with senior stakeholders across cultures and time zones.

Having experienced the demands of high-pressure corporate environments firsthand, Olivia brings a personal and relatable perspective to the conversation about stress, wellbeing and sustainable performance.

Rather than simply talking about the importance of recovery, she invites participants to experience it.

What the session includes

1. Keynote Talk – Understanding Stress, Recovery & the Nervous System (20–30 minutes)

An accessible and engaging introduction to:

  • How the body's stress response works and the role of the autonomic nervous system.
  • The difference between short-term stress and prolonged stress, and why recovery matters.
  • The importance of balancing periods of high performance with intentional rest.
  • How breathing, meditation and sound can support relaxation and stress management.
  • Practical ways to incorporate moments of recovery into everyday working life.
  • Practical Breathing Techniques: Learn simple breathing exercises that help calm the nervous system and support relaxation, providing participants with practical tools they can take away and incorporate into their everyday lives

The talk combines research-informed insights, personal experience and practical takeaways, making the subject approachable and relevant to modern professional life.

2. Guided Sound Meditation – Experiencing Deep Rest (20–30 minutes)

Following the keynote, participants are invited to experience the practices discussed.

The meditation begins with calming breathing exercises and guided relaxation, followed by an immersive sound experience featuring Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, atmospheric soundscapes and nature recordings.

Participants are encouraged to step away from analytical thinking, reconnect with their bodies and experience a moment of stillness and deep relaxation.

3. Reflection & Closing (5–10 minutes)

The session concludes with a gentle return to the present moment, a brief reflection and practical suggestions for bringing more intentional recovery into everyday life.

About the Host

My name is Olivia Holmberg. I’m the founder of The Sonic Nest, a certified sound healing therapist and yoga teacher, electronic music artist, vocalist, producer and speaker, with more than 10 years of international experience across finance and fintech. Having spent much of my previous career in high-performing international environments, including managing relationships with C-suite stakeholders in many different cultures and timezones, I have a deep understanding for the pressures of modern working life and the importance of creating space for recovery, presence and nervous system regulation. Today, I bring these worlds together by offering guided sound meditations to businesses, speaking about the importance of recovery and benefits of sound and meditation. Bringing moments of rest to office environments gives me a deep sense of purpose and is always received with gratitude and the question “when are you coming back?” I have worked with organisations including AWS, TikTok, OpenAI, Marshall and Soho House Stockholm, as well as international festivals, yoga studios, retreats and cultural events. I am also an experienced and confident speaker. At TikTok’s WomenTok Summit in Stockholm, I spoke about the importance of nervous system regulation and recovery to achieve sustainable performance before guiding the audience through a sound meditation. I have also facilitated private sound journeys for team offsites and events, most recently for a senior management team at OpenAI. Alongside my wellbeing practice, I work professionally as an electronic music artist under the alias Olivia Pauline. I produce electronic music and perform live using ableton mixing electronic music, live vocals and sound healing instruments. What distinguishes my work is the combination of corporate understanding, wellbeing expertise and artistic practice. I am comfortable working with senior leadership teams and international organisations, while equally at home on stage, at festivals and in creative environments. I am particularly interested in projects that bring these worlds together in thoughtful and unexpected ways. I love creating memorable moments and experiences that make ordinary life stand out. I am Swedish and have previously lived in Amsterdam. I also travel frequently and thrive in international environments. I would love to see where this partnership with Culture Vitale could lead, as I see strong synergies and many exciting opportunities for what we could create together.
