Workshop
Description
Chalybeate has created a mindfulness workshop to enhance team performance and development.
The workshop is based on a workshop that Chalybeate has used in leadership and team development since 2004. It introduces mindfulness – the history, the uses, the benefits and practices. The practices will be reviewed to help develop an understanding of how they can help develop leadership, team dynamics and personal behaviour.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce the practice and discipline of mindfulness to the team to develop qualities of openness, curiosity and collaboration. Mindfulness can, with practice, develop individual focus, empathy, emotional regulation and mental resilience.
Workshop Schedule
The one-off introductory session can last from 90 minutes to two days.
An alternative plan is for sessions to run through the day and blend with the team’s on-going development programme.
Always, the participants will be encouraged to start and maintain a schedule to bring mindfulness into their work and lives.
Benefits
In teams it enhances empathy, collaboration, openness and the ability to deal with conflict. It helps to manage people’s judgement and develop curiosity.
