Workshop

Description

I bring thousands of hours of meditation experience (Vipassana and Zazen) — including service as a student manager on silent retreats — together with over a decade of work as a teacher and professional development coach. My sessions offer accessible yet powerful mindfulness practices, grounded in modern neuroscience and supported by clinical research. Participants are guided through short meditation exercises, with opportunities for questions and clarifications between and after sessions, ensuring they not only experience the practice directly but also gain the tools to refine and integrate it into daily life.

Benefits

  • Reduce stress and anxiety — mindfulness helps regulate the nervous system, lowering workplace stress and promoting calm.

  • Increase focus and clarity — improves attention, decision-making, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Boost emotional regulation — cultivates resilience when facing challenges, setbacks, or high-pressure situations.

  • Enhance communication — supports active listening and clearer, more empathetic interactions with colleagues and clients.

  • Improve creativity and problem-solving — by quieting habitual thought patterns, mindfulness makes space for fresh insights and innovative thinking.

  • Strengthen wellbeing and morale — participants often report feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected to themselves after even short practices.

  • Prevent burnout — by developing awareness of stress signals and creating space for recovery, mindfulness supports sustainable productivity.

  • Encourage self-leadership — mindfulness builds the ability to step back from automatic reactions and respond with clarity, compassion, and intention.

About the Host

Therapist, workshop facilitator and organisational consultant, I support individuals to rediscover personal harmony and organisations to develop collective excellence. My career has spanned a range of disciplines focused on supporting others to achieve their full potential. I've been a tutor, a teacher, a coach and a guide; a leader of teams and a manager of professional development and human resources. I've freelanced, run businesses, and worked across contexts—from small organisations to global firms; in offices, in the field, and remotely. These roles have ingrained in me a deep-seated optimism in people's capacity to change, and a drive to help build systems and structures that support such change.
