Workshop
Description
Working in small groups, participants co-write a story in real time, with each person adding the next twist before passing the narrative on to the next teammate. Part improv game, part creative writing exercise, the format is structured loosely enough to allow genuine spontaneity, with the facilitator guiding pacing and occasionally introducing curveball prompts to keep the energy high.
Benefits
This playful, low-stakes format quickly reveals how individuals on a team collaborate, build on each other's ideas, and respond to unexpected input: often more authentically than traditional team-building exercises. It builds creative confidence and a sense of shared ownership over a final product, and tends to generate genuine laughter and energy, making it a strong choice for closing out an offsite or breaking up a long day of meetings.
