Workshop

Description

A grounded, practical session for leaders managing teams through change, restructuring, or strategic ambiguity. The facilitator draws on direct experience navigating multiple private equity transitions and organisational transformations across six markets to make this session deeply credible and real. Attendees open with a guided reflection on a time they felt psychologically unsafe at work — what it felt like, how it affected their performance, and what changed it. The group then explores the four stages of psychological safety developed by Timothy Clark, with live examples from real organisational contexts. Participants work in pairs to conduct a "safety audit" of their own team, identifying specific moments and behaviours that build or erode trust. The session closes with each leader committing to three concrete, immediately actionable changes to their leadership behaviour.

Benefits

  • Relaxation & Stress Reduction — Creating and experiencing a psychologically safe space during the session itself offers immediate relief from the vigilance and tension many leaders carry
  • Resilience — Teams with high psychological safety recover faster from setbacks, errors, and change — participants leave with the tools to build this in their own organisations
  • Empathy — The opening reflection on personal experiences of unsafety is one of the most powerful empathy-building exercises available to leaders
  • Engagement — Psychological safety is one of the single strongest drivers of team engagement; leaders leave with direct, practical tools to measurably improve it
  • Cohesion — The pairs exercise builds honest, trust-based connection between participants while simultaneously producing useful output
  • Confidence — Leaders who understand and can actively shape psychological safety feel far more equipped and assured in navigating their teams through uncertainty

About the Host

HR Leader & AI Educator passionate about the future of human work. With 16+ years of international experience at premium brands across Europe — including Red Bull, Mars, and Kantar — I've spent my career at the intersection of people, culture, and transformation.
Today, my focus is on what truly matters: how we use technology — particularly AI — not to replace human connection, but to create more space for it. More time for creativity, for presence, for the things that make us feel alive. But beyond the corporate world, I'm deeply curious about wellbeing, happiness at work, and how leaders can build cultures where humans genuinely thrive — not just perform.
