“Shadows in Motion” invites participants to explore storytelling, creativity, and collaboration through the enchanting medium of shadow puppetry. In this hands-on workshop, teams design simple puppets, craft short narratives, and bring their stories to life on a shadow screen.
Participants learn basic puppetry techniques while engaging in playful exercises that encourage improvisation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. By combining visual art, storytelling, and performance, this session sparks curiosity, connection, and collective imagination in a unique and memorable way.

About the Host
I am a multidisciplinary theatre artist, scenographer, and educator based in Sharjah, with over 15 years of experience developing and leading artistic projects across the Arab world and internationally. My work bridges visual storytelling, puppetry, costume and set design, and performing arts education, creating spaces where imagination and expression come alive. I often integrate theatre games and creative exploration to support communication, empathy, and group connection — drawing on principles of drama therapy while maintaining a strong focus on artistic growth and creative play. I am passionate about designing experiences that awaken curiosity, joy, and collaboration, helping participants reconnect with their sense of creativity and presence — values that deeply resonate with Culture Vitale’s vision of vitality and human connection.
