Workshop

Description

This extended workshop develops vocal confidence and teamwork through singing. The morning focuses on vocal warm-ups, harmony singing and preparing a group performance. In the afternoon, participants learn fresh repertoire, explore musical expression and perform again — building both skill and connection over the day. No experience required.

Benefits

Teams enjoy a powerful sense of achievement as they learn, refine and perform music together. The process builds trust, sharpens listening skills and fosters collaboration in a creative, memorable way. Participants leave with renewed energy, confidence in their own voices, and stronger bonds with their colleagues.

Hosted by Polly May

About the Host

Polly May is a professional singer, educator and accredited coach with over 25 years’ experience on stage and in the classroom. She has performed as a soloist at the BBC Proms, recorded on more than 100 film soundtracks, and sung backing vocals for major artists, alongside a 16-year career as a Director of Music in schools. Drawing on this unique blend of performance expertise and coaching training (ICF member), Polly specialises in helping people build confidence, resilience and connection — whether through presentation skills, team singing, or wellbeing workshops. Her sessions are dynamic, supportive and highly practical, leaving participants with tools they can use immediately in both work and life.

Client Requirements

If it was a longer singing workshop, I would bring a gig piano and need a plug for that. I wouldn't need a microphone. For other workshops I would like to display a powerpoint but happy not to if that's a problem.
