Workshop

Description

This workshop supports leaders in navigating one of the most critical and often underestimated phases of their career: the period immediately following a promotion. Participants are guided through a structured and reflective experience that helps them shift identity, expectations, and ways of working as they step into increased responsibility and visibility.

Rather than focusing solely on skills or performance, the workshop addresses the inner and outer transitions that accompany a promotion—such as redefining relationships, managing new stakeholder dynamics, letting go of old roles, and leading with confidence in unfamiliar territory. The experience combines practical frameworks, reflection, and facilitated dialogue to help participants move from self-doubt or overcompensation into grounded, intentional leadership.

Attendees leave with greater clarity about their role, their leadership stance, and the actions needed to build credibility and trust early on.

Benefits

  • Faster and smoother transition into the new role
Leaders gain clarity on priorities, expectations, and success factors during the critical first months.

  • Increased confidence and leadership presence
Participants learn how to step into authority without over-explaining, proving, or reverting to old patterns.

  • Stronger stakeholder and team relationships
Attendees understand how to recalibrate relationships with former peers, managers, and key stakeholders.

  • Reduced risk of overwhelm and burnout
The workshop helps leaders set healthy boundaries, manage pressure, and avoid common transition pitfalls.

  • Clearer leadership identity and direction
Participants leave with a grounded sense of who they are as leaders and how they want to show up in their new role.
