Workshop

Description

Format: 20-minute keynote-style talk (live or virtual)

Description: Why do some teams consistently outperform others? Research shows it's not about hiring the "best" individuals — it's about building teams where cultural, ethnic, and neurodevelopmental differences are understood and leveraged. In this high-impact talk, Nadine draws on 15 years of experience across diversity strategy, anti-segregation work, community development, and intersectional research to challenge outdated assumptions about what high performance looks like. With a Master's in Intersectionality Studies and hands-on experience bridging cultural divides in some of Stockholm's most diverse communities, she brings both academic rigour and real-world proof that inclusion isn't a feel-good initiative — it's a competitive advantage that directly impacts innovation and revenue.

Benefits

Key takeaways:

  • Why homogeneous teams underperform — and don't know it
  • The untapped business case for cultural diversity and neurodivergent thinking
  • One mindset shift leaders can make this week to unlock their team's hidden potential

Best for: Leadership summits, kick-offs, D&I awareness days, conference sessions, lunch & learns.

Hosted by Nadine Hanna

About the Host

I have spent 15 years working at the intersection of diversity, inclusion, and leadership — from leading anti-segregation projects in Stockholm's most diverse neighbourhoods, to coaching leaders on unlocking the potential of culturally and cognitively diverse teams.

With a Master's in Intersectionality Studies, certification as an ADHD coach, and training in Motivational Interviewing, I bring both the research and the lived experience to every room I enter. Growing up between cultures and languages, I know firsthand what it means to navigate difference — and how powerful it is when organisations learn to do the same. Being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40, I also know the difference between neurodiverse and not aware, versus being neurodiverse and aware of it.

I also know that transformation doesn't happen from the neck up. That's why my sessions weave in breathwork, movement, dance, creative expression, and micro breaks alongside the deeper DEI work. These aren't add-ons — they're how I help people drop their defences, tap into their creativity, and connect with each other beyond titles and roles. The result is teams that don't just understand inclusion intellectually, but feel it.

I offer keynotes, interactive workshops, and intensive full-day programmes that go beyond inspiration to drive real, accountable change. My conviction is simple: diverse teams don't just perform better — they perform best when their differences are understood, valued, and designed for.
