Workshop
Description
Duration: 45–120 min | Format: Experiential workshop | Ideal for: Leadership teams, cross-functional groups, client-facing teams
What I offer: A hands-on workshop that transforms empathy from a soft concept into a sharp professional skill, one that directly improves decision-making, client relationships, and team cohesion.
What participants do:
- Engage in a structured "perspective-taking" exercise drawn from behavioral science (not improv, precise and outcome-focused)
- Practice active listening techniques using a clinical framework adapted for workplace dynamics
- Work through a real-case scenario in small groups, applying empathic leadership in a high-stakes moment
- Build a personal "empathy blueprint", a quick reference tool for navigating difficult conversations
Benefits
What participants gain:
- A practical, repeatable empathy framework they can use in meetings, negotiations, and one-on-ones
- Stronger listening skills that reduce miscommunication and conflict
- Enhanced ability to lead diverse teams across cultural, generational, and personality differences
- A deeper understanding of how empathy directly drives performance, retention, and innovation
My differentiator: I've built this workshop from 18+ years of behavioral facilitation and clinical practice. The result is a session that's equal parts rigorous and revelatory, participants often say it's the most useful professional development hour they've had in years.

About the Host
A 18+yrs spanning corporate leadership, organizational change, and clinical psychotherapy, I bring a rare dual lens to the room: the precision of a behavioral scientist and the warmth of a trauma-informed practitioner. Via my sessions, participants leave with tangible tools, a recalibrated sense of self, and a renewed capacity to relate to colleagues, to pressure, and to themselves. My personal flavor? I bring the rigor of evidence-based behavioral science into spaces that feel human, not clinical, and I do it across cultures, with Indigenous-informed humility and cross-cultural fluency baked in.
