Description
Over 120 minutes, we transform a group of individuals into a resonant, polyphonic ensemble. Using a three-stage "Human Instrument" framework, participants move from quiet mindfulness to high-energy creative play, culminating in the creation of complex, beautiful vocal layers.
I. The Deep Dive: Breath & Vocal Play (45 min)
- Phase 1: Grounding (Breath & Resonance): We begin by tuning the body. Through guided breathing and gentle first sounds to open the voice.
- Phase 2: The Spark (Vocal Games): We transition into playful vocal exercises and "vocal gaming." This part is all about letting go, having fun, and exploring your range in a pressure-free environment.
II. The Reset: Intermission (15 min)
A brief pause to rest the voice, hydrate, and clear the palate before we move into the final composition.
III. The Weave: Building the Polyphony (60 min)
The Flow: Now that the voices are warm and the group is connected, we build our "Living Symphony." We layer different melodies and textures, section by section.
The Goal: Using the natural ability we all share to sing in tune, we create a complex, professional-sounding polyphonic arrangement in real-time.
Requirements: If you can hold a tune and enjoy music, you’re ready. No sheet music or professional training required—we focus on intuitive, natural harmony.
Why This is Unique?
Led by a professional singer-songwriter, this workshop treats the group like a live studio session.
What’s Included:
- Preparation: Custom audio recordings sent ahead of the session to get the team "in the zone."
- Materials: Digital lyric sheets and vocal guides.
- The Keepsake: A video of the final polyphonic creation, delivered after the session as a testament to the team’s harmony.
-> This workshop has a "long tail"—the team will remember and talk about the experience long after the 2 hours are over.
Benefits
This workshop offers a multi-dimensional transformation that extends from the individual to the entire team. Participants experience immediate stress relief and nervous system regulation during the initial grounding phase, which leads into a significant boost in creative confidence through playful vocal exploration. The session fosters deep team synchronization and enhances active listening, as creating real-time polyphony requires participants to be fully present and attuned to one another.
Beyond the technical musicality, the experience serves as a complete mental reset from the workday, building collective trust and emotional intelligence. Because the session concludes with a "Living Symphony" and a high-quality video keepsake, it creates a "long tail" effect—providing the team with a lasting sense of accomplishment and a unique shared memory that continues to inspire collaboration long after the final note is sung.

About the Host
Belgian artist of Congolese origins, I learned to sing in church choirs and pursued music by learning solfège, piano and guitare. My voice however was only truly born when I quit the rigidity of academical training, started travelling, improvising and composing on my own. With years of practice in group animation, I now organise group choirs, singing circles, retreats and private classes both in Europe and Asia. My work is centered around breath, mediation and creative creation, perfectly blending wellbeing and musical creativity. I am available in Belgium during the summer : July/August/ September and the rest of the year in Thailand or South East Asia. In 2027, I would also like to be more present in Europe during the month of March and April.
