Raised on a farm by the seaside in rural South Australia, Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker’s trademark sparkling vocals and the poetic grit of her cool wordsmithery paint a portrait of this pint-sized melodic force to be reckoned with. This Is Not A Love Song swings the pendulum dramatically from tongue-in-cheek and unapologetic country nursery-rhymes-for-adults, to sweeping indie pop heartbreakers, to introspective and sparsely decorated contemporary folk. After an extensive break from touring and recording whilst focusing on her continued work as a songwriter and creative arts producer, 2025 marks the release of new music for Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker, accompanied by touring throughout Australia and New Zealand - her enthralling new single, The Winter (featuring Ollie English), was released in September 2025.
