
Finding high-school physics exceedingly difficult, Jason Krawczyk decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking. After shooting numerous music videos, commercials, and shorts, Jason directed his first feature-length project, "The Briefcase." In 2015 Jason wrote and directed the Henry Rollins horror-comedy "He Never Died," which premiered at South By Southwest and is Currently streaming on Netflix. The sequel, She Never Died, was released in 2020 on Amazon Prime, and his newest project, "Sunset Superman," starring Michael Jai White, premiered in 2024’s Fantastic Fest is streaming as a Tubi original. Along with directing, Jason Krawczyk has written, punched up, several screenplays, novels, and novellas. His novella "It Looks Like Dad” went to a 2nd printing in 2023, the novel "Reality Squall” from Nosetouch Press and “Roots Run Deep,” from Ghoulish Books, released in 2024, and the upcoming novel “Nightmare Country.” and the comic book “Spine of the Land“ in 2026. His passion for writing led him to co-own "Little Ghosts Books" with his husband, Chris Krawczyk, an inclusive cafe, bookstore, and publisher that has published 12 books since 2023, while also hosting a Screenplay Workshop and Programming Little Ghosts Books’ own Film Festival in 2025. Jason's primary goals are honing his writing, directing, and storytelling craft while collaborating with the talented people he has met along the way.
