My name is Vita. I am a professional artist, experienced art tutor, and certified Van Gogh Museum guide based in Amsterdam. I hold a Master's degree in Art and Art Theory, and my work combines artistic practice, art education, and cultural storytelling. For many years, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds, helping them engage with art in ways that are both enjoyable and meaningful. I believe that creativity is not reserved for artists—everyone can benefit from looking more closely, experimenting, and discovering new ways of seeing the world. My workshops are inspired by the idea that art can bring people together. Whether I am guiding a museum tour, leading a painting workshop, or facilitating a corporate team-building experience, my goal is to create an environment that is welcoming, inspiring, and accessible to all participants, regardless of their previous experience with art. Vincent van Gogh has been a particular focus of my work for many years. As a certified Van Gogh Museum guide, I enjoy sharing the stories behind his paintings, his artistic development, and his unique way of observing the world. In 2024, I had the privilege of being an artist-in-residence at the Van Gogh House Museum in Zundert, Vincent van Gogh's birthplace. Works created during this residency have since been acquired for the museum's collection. This experience deepened my engagement with Van Gogh's artistic legacy and continues to inform both my artistic practice and educational work. In my workshops, participants are invited not only to learn about Van Gogh but also to experiment with his techniques and discover their own creative voice. I work with corporate teams, cultural organisations, international visitors, and private groups. Workshops are conducted in English and can take place at your office, a chosen venue, or in my Amsterdam studio. I look forward to sharing the joy of creativity and helping participants experience art in a fresh and engaging way.
