I am a visual artist and ceramic practitioner based in Milan, Italy, and the co-founder of Arcai Ceramica Lab, an independent ceramics studio founded by two women with a shared passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and community. My artistic background began with formal studies in Fine Arts, where I was first introduced to ceramics. I later moved to Italy to pursue a Master's degree at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where I continued developing my artistic practice and deepening my interest in material exploration, hands-on processes, and creative expression. Through my experience working with ceramics, I have developed a strong appreciation for the way making things by hand can encourage people to slow down, experiment, and connect with their creativity. I believe that artistic activities are not only about producing a finished object, but also about enjoying the process, discovering new approaches, and sharing an experience with others. At Arcai Ceramica Lab, I help design, organise, and facilitate ceramic workshops for people with different levels of experience, including complete beginners. Our activities include hand-building, pottery wheel throwing, and ceramic painting and decoration. I guide participants through the different stages of the creative process, explain techniques in an accessible way, and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable experimenting and developing their own ideas. Organising workshops in our studio has also given me experience in planning creative sessions, preparing materials and workspaces, managing activities, and supporting participants throughout the experience. I value creating an atmosphere that is inclusive, relaxed, and collaborative, where people can step away from their daily routines and enjoy making something with their own hands. I am particularly interested in bringing creative workshops into corporate and team-building settings. I believe ceramics offers a meaningful way for colleagues to connect outside their usual working environment, encourage curiosity, communicate through a shared activity, and experience the satisfaction of creating something together. My approach is to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of their previous experience, while allowing each participant the freedom to express their own personality and ideas. Through Arcai Ceramica Lab, I hope to collaborate with organisations that value creativity, wellbeing, and human connection, and to develop engaging hands-on experiences that bring people together through the process of making.
