Program Overview

Core Value Proposition

The Enneagram for Trust-Building & High-Performing Teams helps teams build deep self-awareness, trust, and shared language—so they can collaborate more effectively, navigate change with less friction, and perform at a higher level together.

By understanding individual motivations, stress patterns, and communication styles, teams move faster from misalignment to cohesion, and from good intentions to consistent execution.

High-performing teams don’t fail because of lack of talent—they stall because of unseen dynamics. This workshop addresses the most common (and costly) team challenges:
- Low trust or surface-level trust that limits honest dialogue and feedback
- Miscommunication and friction driven by different personalities, stress responses, and decision-making styles
- Change fatigue and uncertainty that slows momentum and buy-in
- Hidden blind spots that quietly undermine collaboration and performance
- Teams stuck in forming or storming without a clear path to norming and high performance

Without a shared framework, teams often:
- Talk past each other
- Avoid hard conversations
- Misinterpret intent
- Lose energy, focus, and alignment

The Shift This Creates:
From → To
- Individual excellence → Collective effectiveness
- Assumptions → Understanding
- Tension → Trust
- Reactivity → Choiceful leadership
- Stalled dynamics → Sustained high performance

Ideal Participants

The Enneagram for Trust-Building & High-Performing Teams is ideal for:

- Offsites and strategic reset moments: First offsites, annual planning, or moments where teams need to “become one” and move forward together.
- Leadership teams navigating change: (new leaders, new team members, growth, reorgs, or strategic shifts).
- High-performing teams feeling friction: Smart, capable teams where misalignment, stress, or communication gaps are slowing momentum.
- Teams that value self-awareness and collaboration: Leaders who believe performance improves when people understand themselves and each other.
- Organizations scaling quickly: Especially in tech, SaaS, and fast-growing companies where culture and execution must scale together.

Participant Outcomes

After completing The Enneagram for Trust-Building & High-Performing Teams (Foundational Session), participants will:

- Understand their own leadership and working style: Gain clarity on personal motivations, stress responses, and communication patterns—and how these impact others.
- Leverage team strengths intentionally: See how diverse strengths complement one another and how to use them to improve collaboration and decision-making.
- Build trust faster and more authentically: Develop empathy and respect for different personalities, reducing misinterpretation and unnecessary tension.

Additional Enneagram-based Workshops for Reinforcement (Add Ons; ie: 1 session per quarter, based on team dynamics surfaced):
- Communicate more effectively under pressure: Learn how different types give, receive, and avoid feedback—especially during change or high-stakes moments.
- Recognize and manage stress productively: Identify individual and team stress patterns, with practical strategies to stay grounded and effective.
- Reduce friction and increase momentum: Replace reactive dynamics with shared language and clear agreements about how the team works together.
- Accelerate movement toward high performance: Understand where the team sits (forming → storming → norming → performing) and what’s needed to progress.

Organizational / Employer Benefits

Organizations that invest in The Enneagram for Trust-Building & High-Performing Teams experience:

- Higher engagement and retention: When people feel seen, valued, and supported, discretionary effort increases and attrition risk decreases. (Customer Proof Point: 92% retention among 300+ employees over 3 years in Enneagram-based programming)
- Faster trust and alignment during change: Teams build shared understanding more quickly—reducing the drag that often follows new leadership, growth, or reorgs.
- Improved collaboration and decision-making: Clear insight into different working styles minimizes miscommunication, analysis paralysis, and unnecessary conflict.
- Stronger psychological safety: Employees feel understood and respected, leading to more open dialogue, better feedback, and healthier debate.
- Reduced friction and rework: Teams spend less time managing interpersonal tension and more time executing on priorities.
- More resilient teams under pressure: Shared awareness of stress patterns helps teams stay grounded, adaptable, and productive in fast-moving environments.
- Accelerated path to high performance: Teams move more quickly from forming and storming into norming and performing—without relying on trial and error.
- Scalable leadership development: The Enneagram creates a common language leaders can continue to use across coaching, performance conversations, and team development.
