Retreat Overview
Retreat Description
Rooted & Alive is an immersive and psychologically informed retreat experience designed to help participants slow down, reconnect with themselves and others, and explore embodiment, creativity, emotional wellbeing, reflection, play, and authentic human connection in a grounded and meaningful way.
In modern life, many people spend long periods functioning from stress, pressure, overstimulation, disconnection, or constant performance mode. This retreat creates space to pause, breathe, reconnect, reflect, and experience a different rhythm through experiential workshops, embodied practices, creativity, storytelling, group interaction, and restorative human connection.
Blending evidence-informed facilitation with experiential and embodied approaches, the retreat combines elements of nervous-system awareness, creative exploration, guided reflection, movement, symbolic exercises, communication practices, LEGO® Serious Play®, storytelling, role-play, and facilitated group experiences in accessible and gentle ways.
Depending on the retreat format and setting, participants may:
- Participate in embodiment and nervous-system-informed grounding practices
- Explore emotional awareness, self-expression, and communication through experiential exercises
- Engage in creative reflection, symbolic exercises, storytelling, and metaphor work
- Experience LEGO® Serious Play® activities and interactive group facilitation
- Participate in role-play and psychodrama-inspired exercises exploring relational patterns, identity, communication, and authenticity
- Reconnect with creativity, imagination, play, and curiosity through guided activities
- Engage in reflective dialogue, mindful pauses, nature-based reflection, and human connection experiences
- Explore themes such as wellbeing, boundaries, stress, authenticity, embodiment, leadership, self-awareness, communication, belonging and meaningful connection
The retreat is designed as a psychologically safe and engaging environment where participants can reconnect with themselves beyond roles, pressure, and performance while building emotional resilience, creativity, self-awareness, embodiment, and authentic connection through shared experience and meaningful interaction.
