Workshop

Description

When people from different backgrounds work together, friction is often not a skill gap but a perception gap. This workshop addresses exactly that. Through painting and facilitated group dialogue, we create conditions where what feels unfamiliar becomes a point of connection rather than tension.

Attendees are introduced to an artistically-informed painting practice using ink as a medium. This hands-on process allows participants to explore how fragmented elements can be transformed into a unified whole. The session concludes with a focused group dialogue to reflect on the experience and its application to team dynamics.

Guided by a consultant with six years of living and working across 50+ countries, participants move through a painting exercise and facilitated group discussion designed to surface and soften the biases that fragment teams. No artistic experience required. What you leave with is a shift in perspective and a concrete felt sense of what belonging across difference can look like.

Benefits

  • Fosters team cohesion and sense of unity

About the Host

Hi there, my name is Daria and I am a multi-hyphenated creative and entrepreneur: I bring 15+ years as a former corporate director for branding and creative direction, nowadays working as internationally accredited (ICF) leadership coach and most importantly visual fine artist. Over the last 6 years I have lived and worked in over 50 countries and developed a deep passion and understanding for cross-cultural contexts and community building. What I do today is combining it all: I work with companies either from a purely creative/business side, as a creative consultant. Or I combine both lenses: I help companies/people develop cross-cultural skills and a mindset that helps reducing xenophobic and racial biases. This is also my offer here for you: Art for Community – I run artistically-informed workshops where we explore how through art what feels different and disconnected can become more one unity. We work with ink as medium for this painting practice, followed by a group discussion. Best regards, Daria Huck
