Description
We've become very good at functioning. But how often do we stop to ask ourselves how we're actually feeling?
In a world that celebrates productivity, achievement and constant connection, many of us have become experts at getting through the day while gradually losing connection with ourselves.
We move from one responsibility to the next, responding to demands, meeting expectations and navigating an endless stream of information.
But beneath the busyness, an important question often goes unanswered:
How am I, really?
Beyond the Noise is an engaging and reflective wellbeing experience designed to help participants step away from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with themselves and explore what it means to find balance in an increasingly busy world.
Facilitated by Christine Higgins, founder of the Embodied Energy Method™, this session combines relatable insights, interactive reflection, mindfulness and guided meditation.
Drawing on over 20 years of experience across business, education, events and wellbeing, Christine brings a grounded, compassionate and thought-provoking approach to the challenges of modern living and working.
What participants will experience:
1. The Culture of Constant Doing
An engaging introduction exploring why so many of us feel compelled to keep going, even when our bodies and minds are asking us to slow down.
Participants reflect on the expectations, habits and pressures that shape their everyday lives.
2. When Overwhelm Becomes Normal
A discussion about how stress and busyness can gradually become familiar, making it harder to recognise when we need rest, boundaries or support.
3. The Four Dimensions of Wellbeing
An introduction to the Embodied Energy Method™ and its whole-person approach to wellbeing, exploring the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of our lives.
The spiritual dimension is presented inclusively as our connection to personal meaning, values and purpose.
4. The Power of Pausing
Participants are guided through simple grounding, breathing and body-awareness practices, exploring how even brief moments of intentional stillness can create space for reflection.
5. Coming Back to Yourself
A guided meditation inviting participants to step away from external demands, reconnect with the present moment and notice what they may need.
6. Finding Your Own Balance
Through individual reflection, participants identify one area of their lives that may need greater attention and one realistic action they can take to support their wellbeing.
Who is this for?
Suitable for corporate wellbeing days, conferences, leadership offsites, team development events and organisations seeking a meaningful, human-centred approach to wellbeing.
The experience is welcoming, inclusive and suitable for participants with no previous meditation experience.
No personal sharing or disclosure is required.
