Description

In this session, we explore how something as simple as the breath can support the body’s nervous system — the meeting point between physical health and mental capacity. You’ll be guided through practical breathing techniques designed to help you slow down during stressful or demanding periods, so you can stand more grounded and think with greater clarity. You’ll also learn tools for boosting focus and energy when you need to recharge.

The techniques are science-based, easy to learn, and highly effective. This session is both educational and experiential — you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what happens in the body when we breathe consciously, and how it influences your overall wellbeing. The benefits extend beyond yourself, positively affecting your relationships with colleagues, family, and friends.

The session can be tailored to last anywhere from 20 to 90 minutes. In the extended format, we also include therapeutic breathwork for deeper stress release and emotional reset.

Benefits

Reduced stress & sustainable productivity
Lower stress levels bring mental clarity and sharper focus, leading to increased and more sustainable productivity. A calmer nervous system also helps prevent burnout and reduce sick leave.

Improved emotional regulation
Breathwork supports emotional balance, helping employees respond rather than react. This fosters a more harmonious work environment and smoother collaboration.

Enhanced teamwork & communication
Mindful breathing cultivates presence and focus, improving connection, communication, and cooperation within teams.

Better physical health
Diaphragmatic breathing improves oxygen intake and lung capacity, supporting cardiovascular health and overall physical wellbeing.

Long-term wellbeing
Regular breathwork can strengthen the immune system, lower blood pressure, and contribute to long-term health and resilience.

About the Host

Fredrik Fernando Austad is a certified breathwork and mindfulness practitioner with experience working across high-performance environments - from law firms, marine technology and IT companies to chamber orchestras, fashion labels, and wellness brands. His work bridges science and inner awareness, showing how conscious breathing strengthens the nervous system, sharpens focus, and cultivates resilience. Participants learn to manage stress, think more clearly, and move through pressure with calm and confidence. Through evidence-based breathwork, mindfulness, and movement, Fredrik helps people reconnect with balance, creativity, and presence-both in work and in life.

Travel Locations

I’m open to traveling internationally for my work and love bringing this practice to new places and people. That said, I always consider the balance of time and value - for example, I wouldn’t typically fly more than 5-8hours for a 15-minute session. I’m open to long-distance travel when the project feels meaningful, the client partnership is a strong fit, or the mission is especially inspiring - typically for longer sessions or higher-fee engagements. Within Europe, I’m generally very flexible and happy to travel.

Client Requirements

For practical breathwork sessions, I need a sound system with good audio quality and the option to connect via mobile phone, Bluetooth, or Mac. For talks or lectures, I also require a larger screen to display a presentation. During practical breathwork classes, it’s important to have a dedicated space that suits the size of the group. Ideally, there should be yoga mats available for all participants, although chairs can be used if mats are not available(last resort). Participants should bring a water bottle, and if blankets are available, that’s an added bonus.
