Description
A simple, guided meditation session that teaches participants practical techniques they can use immediately — at their desk, before a meeting, or during a stressful moment. No experience required. No eyes-closed-for-an-hour. Just clear, grounded guidance that meets people exactly where they are.
The session draws from mindfulness and breath awareness practices, adapted specifically for professional environments. Participants are guided through techniques for calming the mind, releasing tension, and sharpening focus — all while seated in a chair. The facilitator’s warm, direct style makes even reluctant participants feel at ease.
This format is ideal for team meetings, lunch-and-learns, wellness weeks, onboarding programs, and as a recurring micro-practice (e.g., a monthly 15-minute team reset).
Benefits
- Practical takeaway. Participants leave with techniques they can reuse on their own.
- Scalable to any group size.
- Requires no special setup or equipment.
- Bilingual delivery available (English/Spanish).
- Works as a standalone or complement to the Sound Meditation session.
- Virtual option (via Zoom). Ideal for Ongoing Wellness programs, remote teams, distributed offices.

About the Host
Gabriela Mier y Teran is a certified sound healing and meditation practitioner with 9+ years of experience guiding individuals, groups, and corporate teams through mindfulness and sound-based wellness experiences. With a background in mechanical engineering, she brings a grounded, structured, evidence-informed approach to every session. No jargon, no esoteric framing. Just clear, accessible practices that help people pause, reset, and leave feeling noticeably better than when they arrived.
She specializes in two formats for corporate settings: sound meditation (an immersive, restorative experience using singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments) and guided meditation (simple, practical techniques for focus, stress relief, and mental clarity). Both are designed to be completely beginner-friendly. No prior experience needed.
Gabriela has delivered workplace sessions for organizations including Project Yoga Cincinnati and The Being Project, and has facilitated for diverse populations: corporate professionals, healthcare teams, seniors, and underserved communities including trauma-affected populations. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds certifications in Sound Therapies, Vibrational Therapies, and 200-Hour Meditation Teacher Training, along with her engineering degree.
What makes her sessions different: participants consistently say they feel the effects immediately — calmer, clearer, more grounded — without having to "believe in" anything or do anything complicated. She creates a low-pressure environment where even the most skeptical person in the room can have a genuine experience of rest.
