Description
This is a two-hour experiential workshop in psychological theatre, designed for self-exploration, creativity, and well-being. It offers a welcoming space open to everyone, with no previous theatre experience required.
Benefits
The workshop is structured as a progressive journey through three essential dimensions of an actor’s work: attention, imagination, and action–reaction.
Participants begin with guided exercises to develop attention and presence, learning how to stay fully in the moment, observe themselves and others, and engage their senses. Through practical techniques such as circles of attention and focus training, they build awareness, sensitivity, and connection.
The session then moves into imagination work, where participants are encouraged to step beyond habitual patterns and self-judgment. Through playful and creative exercises, they explore new roles, perspectives, and ways of expressing themselves. This phase creates a “playground” environment — a space free of judgment where creativity, freedom, and authenticity can emerge.
In the final part, participants engage in action–reaction exercises, working in pairs and groups to practice listening, responding, and communicating with clarity and intention. They explore how small changes in tone, posture, or intention can transform meaning and relationships. Elements inspired by Russian theatre techniques, such as adapting oneself to a partner, are introduced to deepen interpersonal awareness and expressive ability.
Throughout the workshop, participants will:
-
Engage in guided physical and vocal exercises
-
Explore emotions through play and improvisation
-
Develop presence, confidence, and authentic expression
-
Experience group interaction and support in a safe environment
By the end of the session, participants can expect to:
-
Release physical and emotional tension
-
Gain a deeper understanding of their emotions
-
Feel more confident, present, and expressive
-
Experience play as a form of self-care and well-being

About the Host
I am Elena Lander, an international actress, director, and TV presenter, born in Moscow and trained in the traditions of the Russian school of psychological theatre. Throughout my career, I have portrayed over 30 roles in four languages, working across Russia, Israel, and Europe. My artistic path has led me to work across stage and film, directing projects such as the short film Doppia Sfida, where I explore the balance between emotional depth and artistic precision. I hold a degree in Creative Production from NABA, which has strengthened my ability to develop and lead creative projects with both vision and structure. My work bridges theatre, body awareness, and storytelling, allowing me to guide others with both a director’s perspective and a performer’s sensitivity. Alongside my artistic work, I support professional actors in building and advancing their careers, helping them refine their craft and presence. I also work with non-professionals, creating a safe and inspiring space where they can feel more relaxed, confident, and expressive on stage
