Workshop

Description

When one meeting ends and the next begins, the body rarely resets as quickly as the calendar expects. Mental tension carries over, attention becomes fragmented and even simple decisions require more effort.

Led by a PhD biochemist and mental coach, this fast-paced, interactive session gives busy teams a practical way to interrupt that cycle. Participants explore what happens to attention, breathing and decision-making under sustained pressure, then test four discreet reset techniques that can be used at a desk, between meetings or after a demanding conversation.

What participants will experience

  • The Attention Reset: a 30-second sensory orientation exercise to bring the mind back to the present task
  • The Grounding Reset: a simple body-based technique for regaining steadiness during pressure
  • The Breathing Reset: a physiological breathing technique for releasing immediate tension
  • The Transition Reset: a short ritual that helps the brain close one task before beginning the next

Participants will test each technique, notice its effect and choose the one that works best for them. The session ends with a guided two-minute team reset that can be repeated during busy working days.

Benefits

Participants leave with:

  • Four practical tools that take less than two minutes
  • Reduced perceived tension after demanding work
  • Improved focus when moving between tasks
  • Earlier recognition of personal overload signals
  • Healthier transitions between work and recovery
  • A personal reset routine that can be used immediately

Additional Experience Info

No special clothing, previous experience or equipment is required. For online sessions, participants only need a quiet space where they can sit comfortably.
