Workshop

Description

A guided sound meditation experience where participants lie down or sit comfortably while being immersed in the resonant tones of singing bowls, chimes, and other acoustic instruments. No experience needed — no mantras, no poses, no spiritual framework. Just sound, stillness, and a chance to genuinely rest.

The session begins with a brief grounding exercise to help participants arrive and let go of the pace of the day. From there, layers of sound are introduced gradually, creating an immersive environment that naturally quiets the mind and releases physical tension. The session closes with a gentle return, leaving participants feeling noticeably calmer, clearer, and more grounded.

This format works especially well as a reset during high-intensity work periods, wellness days, team off-sites, and end-of-quarter or year-end events. Participants consistently report improved focus and reduced stress for hours, and sometimes days, afterward.

Benefits

  • Immediate stress reduction and mental reset.
  • Improved focus and clarity.
  • Accessible to all. No experience, flexibility, or belief system required.
  • Creates a shared moment of calm that strengthens team cohesion.
  • Zero effort from participants. They just show up and receive.
  • Virtual option (via Zoom). Ideal for Ongoing Wellness programs, remote teams, distributed offices.

About the Host

Gabriela Mier y Teran is a certified sound healing and meditation practitioner with 9+ years of experience guiding individuals, groups, and corporate teams through mindfulness and sound-based wellness experiences. With a background in mechanical engineering, she brings a grounded, structured, evidence-informed approach to every session. No jargon, no esoteric framing. Just clear, accessible practices that help people pause, reset, and leave feeling noticeably better than when they arrived.
She specializes in two formats for corporate settings: sound meditation (an immersive, restorative experience using singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments) and guided meditation (simple, practical techniques for focus, stress relief, and mental clarity). Both are designed to be completely beginner-friendly. No prior experience needed.
Gabriela has delivered workplace sessions for organizations including Project Yoga Cincinnati and The Being Project, and has facilitated for diverse populations: corporate professionals, healthcare teams, seniors, and underserved communities including trauma-affected populations. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds certifications in Sound Therapies, Vibrational Therapies, and 200-Hour Meditation Teacher Training, along with her engineering degree.
What makes her sessions different: participants consistently say they feel the effects immediately — calmer, clearer, more grounded — without having to "believe in" anything or do anything complicated. She creates a low-pressure environment where even the most skeptical person in the room can have a genuine experience of rest.
