Description

Calm Under Pressure™ is an interactive workplace wellbeing session that helps participants understand how pressure can affect their attention, energy and behaviour—and introduces practical techniques they can use during demanding working days.

Participants are guided through:

  • Recognising common physical, mental and behavioural signs of pressure
  • Reflecting privately on their individual stress patterns
  • Understanding the difference between continuing to push and taking a purposeful reset
  • A brief breathing and grounding practice
  • Simple techniques for regulating pressure before an important meeting or difficult conversation
  • Practical approaches to restoring energy and supporting recovery during the working day
  • Creating an individual “under-pressure plan” with techniques participants can apply in real workplace situations

The session follows Sunita’s practical framework:

Awareness → Regulation → Recovery → Performance

The experience combines concise education, private reflection, guided practices and optional group discussion. Participants are not required to disclose personal experiences or discuss their mental health.

The 45-minute format provides a practical introduction and guided reset. The 60-minute format includes additional reflection, discussion and personal action planning.

Benefits

  1. Builds awareness of how workplace pressure may affect attention, energy and behaviour.
  2. Helps participants recognise their own early signs of mounting pressure.
  3. Introduces practical breathing, grounding and mental-reset techniques.
  4. Encourages purposeful recovery habits during demanding working periods.
  5. Provides techniques participants can apply before meetings, presentations and challenging conversations.
  6. Supports personal reflection without requiring disclosure of private experiences.
  7. Gives teams a practical shared language for discussing pressure and recovery.
  8. Helps participants create a realistic personal plan for responding to pressure.
